Sleep help!

My son is 3 1/2 and he does not want to sleep in his bed at night and it’s been months! We moved to a new state at the beginning of April and we’ve since he has just not wanted to go to sleep at night. He just sits and screams and cries all night long until I eventually give in and lay with him. He has a night light and a sound machine, I’ve tried with them on and off. I got him a new bed, new sheets, stuffed animals etc and it seems like absolutely nothing is helping. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get him comfortable with his room to lay and sleep.

Ugh...same situation since he was 6 months old and he is almost 4 now. He used to scream and cry all night but now he doesn't do that he just gets up and comes to our bed and kicks us all night long. He kicks so much that my back is insanely sore next day.

We had the same problem when we moved. I'm not sure what worked, but luckily he's past it now. We did a lot of talking about how he was going to sleep in his room, we laid an air mattress down on the floor and stayed with him until he fell asleep, we got a kids book to read on the subject and I resorted to a reward chart for awhile with other things in the bedtime routine I know he would do ( pj's, brush teeth, etc). It's rough! Best of luck!

@Sarah we did every single thing you mentioned but no luck lol
