Looking for positive comments/encouragement!

People can be so negative about the difficulties of having a newborn, not getting sleep, etc…. I know things are going to be hard, but I’m sure it’s beautiful too! Many of you are posting about having had your babies already, so tell me what has been the best part! Share your experience of becoming a mom and any positives that surprised you :) I really want to go into my L&D with positive anticipation and gratitude for my little guy! Not being terrified of how hard it will be lol.

Honestly it’s really not that bad I can’t speak for breastfeeding moms but I formula fed since day one and waking up every 2 hours seems like trash but it’s truly not bad you get used to it. You actually well for me I got more sleep with a newborn then I EVER did pregnant with my 14 month old.

Being a mother is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced …. I HIGHLY recommend the book, “The Happiest Baby on the Block” it gave me the steps of taking care of my newborn. It’s geared for 0-4 months and made me such a confident mama for meeting my baby’s needs.

I LOVE the newborn phase! Though my favorite age is actually 2-3 months. I have a four year old and a nearly two year old. My next will be here in about a month. All my babies have been terrible sleepers and it is definitely exhausting being up all night nursing but I also just love it. I get this intense feeling that I am exactly where I am supposed to be doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. Also just so much love 🥰 Plus their needs are so simple it's so satisfying knowing all they need is you. They have much more complicated feelings and needs as they get older and while that comes with so many other wonderful things it is just so fulfilling taking care of a tiny little thing that needs little more than to be clean fed and loved 💕

Becoming a mom is the hardest yet most rewarding thing you will do! I’ve learn with my toddler that everything is just a “phase” so if it’s hard it’ll get better and you will watch your baby blossom! I have to navigate two here soon and I’m going with that mindset again and I know it’ll be hard but it really is amazing watching them grow. You’re gonna be so surprised how wonderful it is!
