Going on vacation

Hi all Looking for personal experiences Before getting pregnant we had booked a trip to Mexico for November of this year, well then I got pregnant and we still want to go I will be 30-31 weeks at that point and while I know it's considered safe as long as you don't have complications, has anyone gone on trips that far in? How was it, could you enjoy yourself or were you miserable lol We're trying to decide if we should bump it up a couple weeks but the first 3 weeks of October aren't an option because of work

Following ! Pretty much in the exact same boat, going to punta Cana at 30 weeks. My doc just told me to keep an eye on any zika outbreaks. Also get compression stockings for the flight and get up a couple times to keep blood flowing (I’m sure we will need to pee anyways lol)

In the same boat! Was supposed to go to Jamaica end of Oct and I’m currently about 13 weeks…. Trying to decide if we still want to go or if it’ll be a waste and to just wait til April or so

I flew from Vancouver, Canada, to Sydney, Australia, direct (15hrs) when I was 16wks pregnant during my last pregnancy. Despite wearing compression socks and walking the aisles, it was a super uncomfortable experience. I was chomping at the bit to get off the plane in the end 😆 I've flown a lot of long routes before, but flying while pregnant is an entirely new experience.

For me, I would consider: - access to health services (what if baby decided to come early?) - advice from medical provider - general travel recommendations, and - the time difference Just came back from Sweden last week at 13 weeks and the jet lag (both ways) was the worst I’ve experienced in my life — even though I’m usually pretty okay. I was soooo fidgety in third tri and comfort was of the utmost priority. That being said, a lovely big hotel bed with all my food made and a warm pool to defy gravity also sounds luxurious 😄 the flight to get there, less so 😅

I am on the same boat. We had a trip to Cuba planned prior to finding out about pregnancy. We ended up changing to Punta Cana and anticipated the trip to when i will be 29-30 weeks. Will definitely take the tips above on compression socks and walks and off course, follow my doctor's advice when it gets closer to the trip
