Income throughout mat leave
Hello! I’m 36 weeks and due the end of July about to go on maternity leave next week, but does anyone know of any ways to earn money throughout maternity leave as pretty much just getting SMP. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated

There are several survey websites you can use to take part in surveys and be paid for your time. It’s not massive amounts of money but if you’re consistent it adds up. They pay in vouchers or pre paid master cards x
You should br able to do Keep in touch days after the baby if you wanted.
I started to work from home, and i usually only work a few hours a day. Let me know if you’d be interested in learning more.
@Carys if you go over it wouldn’t affect maternity pay it just means you have to do a self assessment the following year and also register as self employed.

You can earn up to £1000 self employed a tax year without declaring I believe so that would be your limit- any more or being employed would effect your maternity pay.
