Side sleeping baby, nappy leakage

Baby always sleeps on her side, we put her down on her back but she always shifts over, this is fine but the issue is that she is leaking out the side of her nappy (pampers 0, she is under 7lb) and clothes almost every time she wees We are making sure the leg bits are all pulled out and nappy is on right but nothing seems to help, could side up but size 1 seems HUGE on her Anyone else had this/can offer any help?

Hey, it may be worth trying different brands (aldis, asdas own/ boots) as they all are slightly different fits. My eldest used boots but they are no good for my youngest x

My friend had this problem with her little girl because of the way she slept so she switched her to boy nappies which are more absorbent at the front, and it solved the issue for them.

Our LG sleeps on her front she moved into size 3s but at night was leaking through. Someone suggested we size up at night time and it's solved the issue for us. You could always try sizing up to try as your little one will grow into them if it doesn't work for you - fingers crossed though x

I liked the Asda 1s with my newborn 😊 I found pampers to be really big made when she was that little

I'd try huggies, I had a similar issue with pampers and my baby was a 5 pounder

Pampers are just useless and the price of them is a joke! I would suggest Tesco or Sainsburys they are my personal fav’s

Size up! helped me with the same issue! Also used pampers. Hope it helps

@Laura how old is your little girl I wanna try my son on his front

@Cee she is 16weeks now but has been sleeping on her front since 4/5weeks. She was really colicky at the start and just seemed more comfortable on her front - she had really good neck strength/head control from an early age too. It initially started with naps where we could watch her but she wouldn't sleep at night and we eventually caved. I know it's not recommended and for the first few weeks at least I genuinely don't think I slept but she did and she wasnt as uncomfortable x

My son is too sensitive sleeps really settle on my chest undisturbed but when his back he’s a light sleeper

We double up at night time x

@Leah we don’t have Huggies in the UK

Thanks everyone! Annoyingly none of the shops around us actually stock a size 0 in their brand, only pampers or we wouldn’t be using them considering how much they are 😅 We did use size 1 last night to try and although they look massive they actually seem to ‘seal’ better around her legs so perhaps a better fit than we thought and no leaks so far!

I would up a size for night time x
