Benefits or any help
So im wondering if anyone gets any help at all in a similar situation... I'm fairly certain it's a no but earlier I tried to use a child tax credits calculator thinking perhaps we would get some tax breaks because I look after the children and it said we would owe money?! I'm really confused, some details below if anyone is in a similar financial situation and knows of any help or that we would have to pay more tax ?! Really appreciate any help

Same as us 2kids one income but hubby earns half that have we only get the marriage tax allowance obviously you have to be married lol
@Caroline maybe we should get married... we are engaged we just got too busy with the kids. What are the tax breaks like?
It’s not huge if I’m honest I think it’s something like £1000 over the tax year. Probably better looking in the gov website . Getting married is expensive tho we got married in 2018 and we had a small wedding of 50 ish people in a registry office.
Literally why we haven't bothered getting married, I think we would just go away for the weekend eith the kids tbh. Thanks for the info I'll have a search
