If you use pre mom you can scan the sticks in using your camera x
@Louise thank you. It’s so annoying because I have no idea when I’m ovulating. The app says I ovulate the week after my period but I’m not that’s true. I’m due my next period in 5 days and I’ve got white discharge, belly pains to the side, I feel like that’s ovulation? The week the app said I’m supposedly ovulating I’m not releasing much discharge or any symptoms really x
I used the pound land ovulation tests, you don't need to spend a fortune. Then I input my ovulation data into FLO, now 17 weeks pregnant and super happy, also took folic acid too, unsure as to is that helped but fingers crossed for you. Also so sorry for your losses doll x
I found that I ovulated around day 14 ish I was taking folic too xxx
I used my cycle app to track period and ovulation I also had one miss carriage but the app was right both times around when we were trying as we got pregnant both times we tried straight away. I am now 23+6 pregnant. I wish you best of luck x
My fertile days were starting 10 days after period started and last about 6-7 days 4 days with medium chance of getting pregnant and 3 days with high chance according to the app.
Premom after 8 years of trying I got pregnant my first cycle. I was also recording my basal body temp
I'd suggest using the Premom app. Having the photos of each LH test will show exactly when you peak so you can time things right. Other things that helped me were using the Fertilily cup after sex and taking supplements like folic acid and CoQ10. Have a watch of Natalie Crawford on YouTube: https://youtu.be/M7C8rHAYJK4?si=MBp_LpnYQ2EWijiF Good luck!
The ovulation line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line from what I remember :) I used an Oura ring with natural cycles and ovulation tests. The app also reads your LH tests for you and says if it’s positive or negative. The day before we conceived I had two consecutive positive LH tests and ovulation pain. Oura rings can be expensive so I get mine second hand usually. I think I have a discount code somewhere if helpful x Also, it is absolutely possible to have too much sex 😂 we calculated when ovulation was expected using the natural cycles app, held off for the four days before and then once we had the two positive LH tests we knew we were good to go
https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/ Try this website it calculates the dates you’re most fertile x
I don't like mommed tests I much prefer easy@home and scan them into the premom app. It does look like you've got persistently high LH which can be a sign of PCOS so might be worth looking in to. Do you have regular cycles?
Flo was amazing for me
I use natural cycles and also read a book on fertility before we tried to conceive (honestly best book ever). I track LH, basal body temperature and cervical mucus. You have a positive LH test before you ovulate remember :) its highest 24-48h before you ovulate. I’ll try and find a link to the book! But tracking multiple “symptoms” gives a more accurate idea
These tests don’t tell you that you’re ovulating, they predict it. Test BBT to confirm ovulation and track on PreMom x

@Charley thanks. Erm one month I can have 3 week gap before period and then next month I could have 5 so not really that regular to be honest. I don’t have the same amount of days between each period. Which is why I was using the strips but some people saying I’m not ovulating and some are saying I am, so honesty I don’t know anymore x
@Kelly thank you! Don’t know about the basal body temperature so will look into that. What should mucus be like if I’m ready to try/ovulating
For those that recommend flo, if I don’t have regular periods I’m not sure what to our my cycle days at x
So the tests don't tell you if you're ovulating, they just tell you how high/low your LH is, and ovulation usually happens after your LH surges and gets much higher, then drops. It's the drop that signals to your body to ovulate. The only way to check for ovulation is a test later on in your cycle that's usually a blood test ordered by the GP, I don't know of any at home tests you can do. But your LH seems quite high all the time, usually lines this dark you'd only see for a couple of days at most before it falls off again and gets lighter, that would signal your body to ovulate. Having persistently high lh can be a symptom of PCOS along with inconsistent cycles.
@Charley thank you for your comment. I’m due my Period in 5 days so shouldn’t be ovulating now I don’t think. But yes, my test aren’t very clear as they always look like I’m Ovulating x
For those who tracked body temperature, how did you do this? Thanks
For BBT you need to take your temperature with an internal thermometer (not a laser/forehead one) as soon as you wake up every day, before you even sit up out of bed
I used the Oura ring to track BBT, Apple Watch does it too (newer models). I just used a thermometer before but my sleep isn’t consistent so found the ring much more reliable and less faff trying to remember to do temperature at the same time every day before you get up. It took me ages to get a positive LH reading - I realised I peaked late in the evening and I always used to test in the morning so seemed to miss it a lot.
Also, the two months I conceived last year (first time ended in mmc) were the months I used my Menstral cup after sex to hold it all in haha. Not sure if it is purely coincidence but something I noticed, may be worth a try. Xxx
I used flo - my sister would get consecutive tests like this. She's under investigation at the moment though xxx
