I just pretend not to hear people when they speak to me. The odd one will be persistent and speak louder or even tap me on the shoulder but I'm not a social person to begin with. I basically speak in 1 word sentences 🤣 I do have the odd encounter tho. I remember an older woman asking me if the little ones in the double buggy are twins. They were 6 months and 2½ at the time. Odd but a memory I still laugh about sometimes 😅
Yeah I find its always older women that come over and shove their face in the pram to look at my LG. To be fair, none of them have been rude or tried to touch her or anything bad, but it does make me feel uncomfortable when I'm just minding my own business. And yet on the flip side the other day I was really struggling to hold baby and get her bag out from under the pram, and the next table were just staring at me with no offer to help 🙄
@M. Very well said. I don't trust strangers around my kid. I've also been told my child doesn't look like me by weirdos. Sorry that happened. Sounds like a woman with real problems messing with you
I got stopped once and I wasn't particularly busy. I thought he was quite funny I said I had two kids and he said "when is the 3rd?' I said 'no sir, this is my last child's he said 'cut it out then' meaning stop having sex 🤣🤣🤣
I think they creeps tbh
My resting bitch face scares most people off but I do understand your frustration. Any time it does happen I’m instantly put in a mood.
Act like you don't speak English 🤣
Or you could say they need a nappy changing 🤣
I swear everywhere we go somebody walks up to us speaking to my LO. And surprisingly it’s more white people that speak to us.
I don’t really encounter that often. But what I like to do is have a cover over my baby while they’re in the car seat/ stroller so people cant peep in. I feel it helps a lot
