Other than the Maternity Grant, are any other payments available to someone that is unemployed? I quit my job at around 8 weeks pregnant and haven’t worked since

Oh also look into maternity allowance you should be eligible for it if you previously worked although not entirely sure
I think you should be able to get a sure start grant which is non repayable it’s £500 and available if you’re on any type of benefit I believe. And look into healthy start card/vouchers to help towards milk and food costs you may be eligible for that too

You could try applying for universal credit or employment and support allowance if you’re not already receiving it? Otherwise don’t think there are any additional payments , maybe you could seek an advancement on UC?
