20week scan Peterborough Hospital

Hi all. Does anybody know if Peterborough Hospital allow you to have the gender written in an envelope if you're not wanting to know at the time of the scan? I assumed it could be done but I've had a friend say that this wasn't something her hospital offered. Thankyou :)

It depends on the sonographer. They’re not supposed to but some will do it for you x

@Emilie I think it’s from it being wrong and being sued from having it written down but that’s just from what I’ve heard! I’ve always gone private for early gender scans so I don’t have an experience it’s just what I’ve heard. Hope they do it for you! X

When I was there getting scans last year, it had a notice saying they couldn’t write it down for you, not sure if that’s changed recently.

You can bring your own envelope or ask at reception and they will do it for you if you wanna do a gender reveal party they give me at reception as I forgot mine hope that helps also that happened at Peterborough City Hospital ❤️

They did it for me without any problem Sonographer didn't accept my envelope, they had their piece of paper for this 😊
