Help feel awful 😓

I have a 6 week old and have cut his finger nails a few times with the tomee tippee scissors and they have been good and I have never cut to short or caught him etc but yesterday it wasent until a bit after I noticed a few looked sore and I looked and they was bleeding at the fingertips as it looked I have caught the skin on the ends and now there is like blood patch under the skin should I be worried and is there anything I can do as I don't want them to get infected will they heal and go away thanks

Get the Haakaa electric nail filer. It works for all ages even adults. You can find it on Amazon

They should be fine. You may want to file them more often vs cutting. Also I used to try to pull back or press down the skin at the tip of the finger to try to avoid accidents (it’s kind of hard to describe the method lol)

If there’s open skin you can use over the counter triple antibiotic ointment on them but of course if it doesn’t look better or you’re concerned then make an appointment with his pediatrician

I always used a baby nail file until around 6 months when the nails start to Jared up, don’t feel bad lovely we’ve all been there xxx
