@Angeon could you explain it more, please?
@Erika I just make little stickers and bookmarks etc :) I have a Shopify and an etsy, I have time to make the products but marketing them and making them is a little difficult tho, I feel like if I had some help or a little more time I could make a full time income
I’ve seen a few people on Tik tok discussing digital marketing. Not sure how legit it is.
Hi there! I am doing digital marketing. I am just starting but I have a plan on what I will continue to do. I currently have a course that I’m selling that teaches you everything you need to know to get started. But I am also working on a cookbook for moms!! You can make any product or service and sell it online. I wanted to be able to make products my little could have that I made!! I am loving it. If you want more information let me know😊
@Katie digital marketing is %100 legit 😊 you either create your own products/ service and market them to make money or you can buy a done for you products and learn the information then sell it! If you have any questions im open to answer!
Beware of “digital marketing” that requires you to spend money on a “course” that teaches you how to do it - these tend to be pyramid schemes or scams. Also beware of “network marketing opportunities,” which refers to MLMs. If you have a particular skill, you can try freelancing it. Otherwise babysitting, Instacart, or getting a part-time job when your partner is off work are other options.
I second that all the "digital marketing" people talk about on here are pyramid schemes. There are like 3 of these "need wfh job" posts on this group per day I assume most are posted anonymously by the profiles that are the marketers trying to make sales.
@Carolyn There are unfortunately sooo many scammers on this app. So sad they’re trying to take advantage of vulnerable women. A semi well-known influencer got sucked into one of those pyramid course schemes a year or two ago, was selling a course on “how to make a course to make passive income” for like $1200, and was bragging about how she’d be bringing in a million a year after 3 years. That obviously didn’t happen. It was interesting (and sad) to watch it all go down.
Wow, if a semi well-known influencer can't get enough people on their downline to make money there's definitely no hope for the rest of us.
@Carolyn hey girly, digital marketing is essentially marketing a product. This could be your own or a done for you product you purchase. It’s pretty much the same thing as flyers you get in the mail BUT that is traditional marketing. Just saying, hey I have this product but explaining what it will do for you 😊 I agree people are getting scammy with some areas of digital marketing but there are some truly doing it correctly and not for the money! 😊
@Carolyn Yeah, it seems the vast majority of her followers realized it was a scam or couldn’t afford to fork over all the money. I mentioned it because what the scammer posted about in this thread was pretty much word for word what this influencer promoted after she got scammed 😬
@Ken I'm really not sure where you are in your digital marketing journey, so I don't want to offend you. I agree there are legitimate ways to do it but honestly anytime someone says I have a course to tell you how to do it and also I just started it makes me worried. It's econ 101, supply and demand, the barrier to entry for making digital products is essentially zero so anyone can open up shop. The only people making money doing it are miss-representing how their products will change your life, aka scamming. Unless you are a semi-famous influencer who already has 500k followers, but according to Rebecca even that doesn't equal sales.
@Carolyn girly, I get it!! If someone messages me wanting to get started I’m completely open with what you’re getting. I have all the modules laid out and what you will be receiving. I’m not making huge income claims as I have not made a huge income. But there are ways that you can have multiple income streams online in turn having a good commission. There are just different platforms you can utilize, which all work differently. Like tiktok will push your content for people to see on the FYP, and you can get sales that way. But like Pinterest is literally a search engine, so as long as your using the key words the person looking for that will find it. It’s definitely possible but takes time, once you build up your community 🤍 I have not claimed you can make a crazy amount of money as I have not done that just starting out yet😊
I make stickers and that nets me a little money each month :)
