The pelvic pain and insomnia are getting real! I was really pushing to have my cesarean at 38W (long story), and just had my appointment but she booked it 38 + 5. Cried the whole drive home, guess the hormones are real as well 🤣😭
@Allie would also love to have my c section at 38 weeks. A bit worried I’ll go into labour before my c section at 39w1d 😵💫
My c section is booked for 38+ 2 days and everything aches and I'm ready to just be more comfy haha xx
@Samantha that’s actually my worry as well! I’ve been doing a lot of research - if you get to the second stage of labor then have a c-section you’re not only more likely to go into early labor next time, you’re more likely to progress rapidly as well. I got to 10cm and pushing with my first before the emergency c-section so basically have ptsd and do Not want to go through labor again 🙈
@Allie oh gosh that’s a worry! I didn’t go into labour with my 1st - was just a standard emergency c section at 34 weeks. But back in South Africa where I had my son it’s standard practice to do scheduled c sections at 38 weeks. Fingers crossed!
I'm shattered all the time now, but I can eat again so baby has dropped down a bit I'm 35 weeks and 4 days xx
