Premature baby belly button
My baby was born 34 weeks + 5 days. Her umbilical cord came off after 7 days. I have realised her belly button is very big and bumpy, has anyone else gone through this. Is this normal? Will this go down in time?
My LO is the exact same and, if anything, it’s gotten slightly bigger since she got home! It really does protrude outwards, but the doctors and HV never seem concerned, and my HV said she’s seen babies with much bigger belly buttons also be told they’re fine by doctors! From what I heard it should go down, but keep an eye on it and mention it if you’re concerned x
