When do I update my Medicaid ? After birth orrrr now ? I’m due in August and Ik I’ll haha to reply and add my baby idk when to do that

I informed my insurance I was pregnant already and they have her due date documented so now I just have to tell them the info they need once she’s here. And it’s documented on my Medicaid and link that I’m pregnant and expecting
Does anyone know if I can apply to Medicaid just for my baby once he’s born? I have decent health insurance for myself but to add him is an extra $800 a month! I can’t afford that and I don’t want to change my insurance until next year since I’ve already paid my deductible and all.
