@Elizabeth oh yeah so you can only take like a week at a time 4 times a year, I was just looking at how much holiday clubs are and nearly had a heart attack! Thank you! We will probably still need them in between friends and family but still good to know!

Remember that you can use the tax free childcare scheme to pay for holiday clubs 😊

My company allow up to two weeks a year parental leave so you might need to check your companies policy on it

This is the reason we did nursery instead of preschool, then you can do all year round.

Yeaah we've gone private nursery. Extortionate but we need the childcare all year round and they're all open 9am-3pm in our area which is no good for our working hours no matter how we tried to split work. It was never going to happen. I think you'll be hard pressed to find an employer that lets you take all of the school holidays off work every year. It's not just pay, it's having a business to run / service to maintain.

@Bethan ohhh Yeahh i totally understand that I was thinking like a day a week or something not the whole holiday and then friends family and holiday clubs for the rest! The little ones aren’t too bad I was just thinking next year before big school the summer holidays xx
