So this isn’t baby related, but I’m basically in a really bad financial situation where I’m a single mum and I’ve got no income apart from my benefits. I’m seriously considering starting only fans because you can make some good money and it would be something to do while my baby is asleep is it bad for me to want to do that as a mum because I don’t want people judging me if they find out? Are there any other mums on here that do this?

If you can’t either go back to work or find a job that works for you then I think as long as you are safe and baby is safe then you have to do what you have to do. X

@Laura thank you! I genuinely have no option, if I went back to work even part time I’d have nursery fees to pay and with me getting an income my benefits would reduce and I’d end up worse off than I am now. I was going to start up a little business of making dummy clips or something cute but i wouldn’t want to risk them coming apart and being a choking risk to a baby! I’m all out of options x

Are you able to maintain a WFH job maybe?

Do what you got to do! Absolutely no judgement from me - if people will pay then take advantage… just set yourself boundaries on ‘how far’ you’ll go so you dont get sucked in and go further than you want (without realising). Just a thought though, it wont impact your benefits will it? You dont want that added faff! Lily Allens just joined to show off her feet I heard so its anyones place to make some cash! Id probably consider it if I didnt look like a potato 🤣Xx

I think you have to be careful. Just if people find out might call social services etc . No judgment do what you have to do darling . Also look into grants for single parents if your in the uk

You know what angel, I wouldn't of even posted on here - just do what YOU think is best! My advice, keep your face maybe not fully shown on your pictures or whatever you post so that there can't be any comeback or anyone else finding out🤍

I think you need to consider your mental health if people you don’t want to find out, do. Personally, I would probably completely close off and be anxious that everyone is looking at me on the street so for me, it wouldn’t be worth the stress. But if you’re not an anxious person, then more power to you for doing what you need to get by! Is there anything cash in hand you can do? Cleaning for people? Ironing service?

I don’t think many people would judge these days tbh, a lot of people do it. If someone told me they did it, I would literally be like “ah cool” and not give it a second thought. You gotta do what you gotta do🤷‍♀️

Only fans isn’t for the weak. You need a big following already, it’s not just make an account & make a fortune quick fix

Any money you earn you would still have to declare to Mr tax man, whether its employment or only fans it will still affect your benefits if you are earning a certain amount. Be careful X

@Rosie I agree! I used to clean for a living and then went to ironing at home instead! Wasn’t loads of money but it gave us a good pick me up every week/month for sure. Worth it. I also still have a lady I clean for every now and then.

Only do it if you actually want to and not because you’re short on money and feel like it’s the only way. All money would need to be declared for tax so it *may* affect your benefits. It’s also not a quick fix, it takes a lot of effort/ time to build up a base, could be months or years or possibly never. It doesn’t make you a bad person, certainly not a bad mum - if anyone judges you that speaks more about their character than yours. x

@Jay as a social worker who has worked with mums in onlyfans and similar there is no reason social services would get involved unless things were done in front of children or they were at risk. They’d be worried about sharing locations and confidential info online but, generally, they don’t care about onlyfans.

Hey, if it works for you then it works for you. From friends doing it I know it can be very demanding, and you would need other platforms to increase your following such as insta and SC. My best advice would be if you don’t want your identity shown possibly wear a cute mask, and if you have any tattoos try to cover them or edit pictures before uploading. Also hide any pictures from the background etc before posting too. I know it can be stressful so make sure you put your mental health first. But there is definitely no shame in it and it’s extremely popular x

Can you try finding a job that offers daycare or let’s you bring them. Wfh? There will definitely be judgement and think about how it could someday come back to blow up in you face.

The people that may judge you if they find out, are they going to pay your bills? If the answer is no then screw them and do what you have to do!

I did only fans for a bit a year or so ago and just kept my face off it and edited my tattoos off, if you want it anonymous i recommend doing the same and make a new email for the account, which you can also use to make promo accounts across different media so you can get more known without ACTUALLY being known. No judgement whatsoever, if it’s ok for people to watch and use sexual content, why do people get to say you can’t make it? You do you girl, just don’t cross your boundaries and don’t let anybody else do so either. I hope life gets easier for you doll 💓
