@Grace thank you. I am always regular. I didn't take ovulation test so hard to know, but know it was implantation spotting in June as I have heavy periods and that was very light. Then had positive tests post that. Hoping its just that I am later than I thought. I think I'm going to have to find ways to reduce pregnancy anxiety as I've been way worse than I thought I would be.
You can't know it was implantation bleeding, it could have been a period even if it was different to your other usual periods. Especially if you weren't tracking ovulation. Did the scan place offer a rescan in a week or so? This is the usual procedure when they think you could be early on. When was your first positive test? When was the last positive test?
@Charley they did not. First positive test was the 26/06 and then last one was last night. They suggested I did a digital one, which I did and it said 3+ weeks. Hopefully just a timings thing 🤞
Did they refer you to EPU? If not, get in touch with your GP who will refer you through. You’ll then be under their care and they will scan as many times as necessary to figure out what’s going on.
I would have a other scan in a couple of weeks. You may be able to be referred by the GP but in my area I couldn't, as I hadn't had a previous ectopic or miscarriage and that's the criteria where I live
@Katherine thank you. Did not know about EPU. I have my first midwife appointment on Thursdsy so hoping i can get some more clarity then.
@Charley thank you.
You can ovulate later, even with a regular cycle. Going by dates I’d be 12+5 but I had a scan today and I’m 9+4. One of my friends is also pregnant now, she’s only 5+1 and her scans are showing very little for now. Chances are that three tests aren’t wrong, and you’re just early 💕
Going by your last period is okay really reliable if you have a regular period. If you're not regular, then it's hard to know without having taken ovulation tests! But it's definitely possible you ovulated later and that's why you're not as far along as you thought you be!
