@Shanee ty for this information. I was working retail but I left because of my 10 month old. I’m a mom to a 10 month old and to a 9yr old. I had childcare but I live in nyc and as of lately we’ve had terrible things happen in the daycares here. The one I was depending on sadly closed because of noise complaints from the neighbors
Hilton, Amazon, Apple, United Healthcare, and most cable companies utilize remote workers. Go directly to their site and search openings. Think of services you use where chatting is an option. Go directly to the site and apply. Job boards are great, but unfortunately even they are subject to scams! Be careful and go with your gut. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Best wishes
Substitue teaching maybe?
Remote and family comes first! Message me (:
Teach online at outschool or hisawyer if you have a solid napper
What about working for the school system? Lots of districts are always looking to hire non teachers. Even something part-time will allow you to have the same schedule as your son so you wouldn't have to worry about childcare. Holiday hiring ( retail mostly) will pick up soon, maybe look into that as well. Managers usually are accommodating to temp employees. I thankfully work remotely. I was blessed to find a position during Covid, and it has worked well for my family. I always see posts inquiring about WFH positions, but those positions are hard to come by, especially if you are entry-level. I suggest updating your resume and posting it on ALL job boards.
