If your trying to get out of the house the art factory is nice. They have a play space you pay a fee to play and they have coffee and pastries. Also, children's museums. If your staying at home you could put together sensory boxes or do arts and crafts they could join in on for the memories. And if you have a little extra money. The great wolf lodge in williamsburg does day passes. Fun for all ages! They have discount codes for AAA members or if your inlaws AARP

Children museum has an infant/toddler section. Not assuming you have EBT but if you do or know someone who does you can get everyone up to 6 people in for $2 a piece. Idk what 6 month olds can really do but that part is closed off from the other bigger kids Museums maybe
