I’m not sure but there are benefits calculators you can use to work out how much you’ll be entitled to! They are available on the government website
Im not sure how it works with couples but im a single parent and I started working again last month coming off maternity leave and I made just under £2,000 and I get nothing this month. And I have quit that job now. So not feeling very confident now for how I’m gonna last for July/August now until I get a new job.
my partner earns £2800 a month and i get £1100, we’re entitled too £2400 a month x
How does this work ? How many children do you have And do you receive £1100 through universal credit
@Brooke i have 2 children, my entitlement for rent is 1200 and im married to my partner: i get the £1100 through UC
Okay thank you ! X
@Holly did you not get fined? Because you get sanctioned for quitting a job..
Depends how much your current entitlement is.. and if you get housing. They deduct 0.55p of entitlement per every £1 earned. I know with London private rent you still tend to qualify for some payment but usually not if you get social housing rates. Check the benefits calculator on turn 2 us website
