Husband pushed / grabbed child

So 3 year old being a 3 year old. Big feelings. Mis behaving. Etc. 3 year old nipped my husband when in the swimming pool. Husband pushed him in anger / retaliation and 3 year old slipped and fell under the water. Understandably 3 year old visibly upset , cried and was a bit shocked. He said to crying child. Well you should t have nipped me. I immediately picked up child and gave comfort etc as I feel it was totally out of line. When challenged husband won’t see any wrong in this. He’s previously grabbed our child quite sternly when he’s been misbehaving and also totally overeacts to things. Told him if he didn’t do “x” then the dog he could hear barking would eat him. Queue child being up all night worrying about said dog eating him for being naughty and was really upset. Please share your thoughts.

My thoughts on the initial reaction was, sometimes having a reflex is kinda just that but as I kept reading.. him not taking accountability, seeing no wrong and having absolutely no remorse is WRONG & scary that he doesn’t see that and also telling a child that? Nah, I don’t agreee with his “disciplining” at all. Number 1 is to protect our children

I would be really worried... Does he bully you too ? Imao that's a HUGE red flag, I hope you stand up for your child.
