Fist of all, congratulations! I’m also in my first trimester and was wondering if it’s normal for the first appointment to be scheduled quite a few weeks into pregnancy. I have an initial call with a nurse on the 17th. With how many weeks are you having your first consult? Thanks and all the best D
@Debora depending on your OBGYN…..I couldn’t schedule mine 8wks from my first day of my last cycle. I have read other women that have seen their OBGYN at 6wks.
@Debora yes ma'am. Usually after 7+ weeks. And it's to eliminate unnecessary worry. Some people go in early and can't see baby or hear heartbeat and it turns out they ovulated late so their gestation is off. So to avoid that they usually schedule it further out. I'll be 10 weeks for my appointment
Same here! The only reason I knew I was expecting early because of the sickness that has been lingering since 4wks😔. My first was suppose to be today but was pushed back until 18th 😣
