Day out

Hi all! I’m relatively new to the area. I have a 8 month old baby boy, Ollie. I went back to working full time; of course I’m happy to gain back my independence but I also miss him terribly. I took the week off and today we spent the best day out and about. We got off at Blackheath and walked to Greenwich park. He fell asleep and took a long nap while I read a book and drank a cup of coffee. We then spent some time at the playroom in the maritime museum and had lunch at a cute brunch spot in Greenwich. I then walked back to Blackheath, while he took another nap on the stroller. It was a great day spent out of the house (I mean, it’s supposed to be summer!) and we both enjoyed staying out, doing something simple yet different. I would love to do something similar with other mums and babies. I truly need some mum friends. Would you like to join me one day? 😊

I would love to join! I’m always getting the train to Blackheath and walking to Greenwich park. What’s the play room at the maritime museum? I didn’t know this was a thing! 😍 xx

I’d love to join, great idea. My little one is 7 months x

Yess would love to! My LO is 7 months and we’re based in Eltham 😊

@Sandra I’m also in Eltham! We could hang out at some point

@Rav found it absolutely by chance. It’s on the second floor. There’s an interactive space for kids and a playroom which is just a space full of toys and books but it’s quite nice. There were many kids coming and going while we were there.

@vranda brilliant 🤩

What do you think of meeting up on Saturday 27th July and have a walk around the park?

@Laura we’re away that weekend but we go to Rhyme time at the eltham centre every tuesday if you fancy joining and grabbing coffee after 😊

@Sandra nice 👌🏼 what time is it? I have gone back to working full time so I’m a bit tight over the week days

If anyone’s free this Saturday we could meet up in Greenwich park? I’m based in Abbey Wood but can get train to Blackheath 🥰
