I need weird friends🤣

Hihi everyone. Life is hard and depressing. I live ing Greensboro NC and all I do is work and stay home. I’m originally from NYC so I’m used to always doing something new but after coming down here I feel like I’m aging quickly. I need friends to binge manga/anime with (I know how old I am 🙄), I need platonic Barns and Nobles dates, unlimited Disney marathons….. I’ve been down here since 2013 and it hard making friends outside of work. I know I’m weird and dress different but I need a life outside of marriage and motherhood. Don’t get me wrong, I love my little family but I want to be more than that

I can relate I moved here from Atlanta over a year ago and the change is hard but a stay at home mom so it’s so hard to find friends honestly 😭😭

And it’s so hard to find people who doesn’t entertain drama and actually like exploring different things like rage/ escape rooms or roller/ ice skating, going to barns and nobles or old book stores

@Tia we have a book club and do all sort of activities! You should come! We’re actually meeting up today at the library bc it’s raining but 3rd floor patio in Winston Salem. I love doing all those activities!

I love a great trip to Barnes and noble 🥹. I just moved from Atlanta last year and I’m definitely looking for like minded people to connect with.

I’ve honestly just worked and been in the house. I work from home so I barely get out. When I do it’s mostly eating or hitting up a thrift store or festival that’s going on. I also go to the gym or yoga too when I can. I’ve also started walking since I’m in my first trimester. @Tonie

Sameeeew!!!! It’s seems like unless you plan out your whole day, the only thing to do is go to work or Walmart 🤣

Work and Walmart is hilarious and so true @Tia 😂. Pregnancy has definitely made it worst for me. I’m always hot so indoors with limited clothes is my favorite way to be. I feel like I’ll get out more this fall.

@Shakenya only if it cools down a little. I feel like it’ll be different once I get my own car but still, no one has time to map out attractions while running behind a child
