Anyone else find it harder to make friends?

Yeah 100% or you've got friends with kids near enough same age but development wise is different ,,,,, for example my son just doesn't acknowledge anyone 😅😅 soo when a friend says let's meet the kids can play I'm on the fence......thinking ok but he will just ignore your kid 😅 he doesn't mean it obviously but my son just hasn't got to grips that like other people exist .... hard to explain unless you know about the preemie life.

All my friends children are toddlers and my daughter is 8 weeks corrected it really pisses me off sometimes when they forget she's still small like they're shocked she's still in newborn clothes

Yes it was really hard to make friends outside of nicu but we were in nicu so long I'm still friends with other preemie moms. Once they are older it's easier to hang out. Once my son was almost 1 it was easier. But making friends is just hard now and the pandemic didn't help.
