Am I pregnant?

Hormones are expected to go up every 48hrs. The lines will get darker with time.

Could this be a chemical pregnancy? Your lines shouldn’t be this light so long after your period was due I’m afraid hun. Are the very bottom tests the latest? If so it looks like they’re getting lighter which is what happened when I had a chemical. Maybe check with your GP?

what happens now if it’s a chemical pregnancy will it just pass and my period eventually return? I’ve never experience one before. I’ve had miscarriages but always lost baby at 10/12 weeks

I’m sorry to hear that hun. I’ve had a missed miscarriage and a chemical. So when I had my chemical the lines were very faint and within 2 days they were barely even visible. I then started my period which was a little heavier than usual. Was 3 days ago the first test you did? It would just be very unusual to have such faint tests that far after your period is due that’s all. And I’m unfortunately not seeing any progression with the lines 😘

Also, which way round are your HCG sticks? Is top the most recent or the oldest? They are the only ones you can really compare because there’s a few of the same test. If they’re starting at 8 days late and going down to 11 days late then they’re definitely getting lighter. But if it’s the other way round then that would be some progression?

yes 3 days ago was when I started testing, how long do you think it will take for the period to arrive? X

the test strips start with the oldest getting to todays one so they are negative, which is why I’m so confused but chemical pregnancy explains it x x

Ah yes it does sound like that might be the case then sadly hun. I’d expect your period to come shortly. Do you have any period symptoms? Mine came pretty quickly after the tests faded. I’m sorry 😥

just cramps but been having them for weeks now so not sure, had headaches which has been unusual. Hopefully by weekend she’ll turn up. Thank you for commenting x x
