Nursing to sleep

Hi everyone, I’ve always held, rocked and fed my almost 16 month old to sleep which has been great and worked for us but now he’s suddenly wanting to be latched most of the night, and needs to nurse to resettle. He’s not actually drinking just soothing, it’s keeping me awake and not allowing him a settled sleep (we co-sleep after he wakes in the night) also not something I’ve ever had a problem with. He was able to self soothe back to sleep before this. His fourth molar is coming through so he’s also not latched correctly and it’s becoming uncomfortable. Does anyone have any experience with this and any advice / ideas to help break this or to night wean? Not judging others but CIO and other sleep training methods are not for us. Thank you!

Hi. I am in the same boat! I believe it is because of the teething that makes them very fussy and uncomfortable and want to latch all the time. Cold yogurt has been very helpful for my son to sooth his gums. I give him a few spoons of cold yogurt before his sleep time and it has been helping. Also, sometimes I give him Tylenol specially when I feel his temperature is a bit elevated because of teething. It helps with the sleep too.

Heyo I'm in the same boat also. I haven't personally found anything to work yet, so following with hopes of some ideas.😅
