2nd ectopic pregnancy

Last May I had a ectopic pregnancy, treated with methotrexate, chemical pregnancy in March , now my 2nd ectopic pregnancy, stuck in my right tube, it’s been removed via surgery this time. I just don’t know what to say anymore. I can’t believe it’s happened again. Has anyone had 2 ectopic pregnancies?

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have had three ectopic pregnancies one in my right tube with surgery removal then two in my left tube both self resolved after several weeks. I am now 23 weeks pregnant with my very healthy baby. There is hope 🙏🏻 I would see if you can get any support from the hospital, repeat loss clinic etc. I had a hycosy test to check if there were any blocks in my left tube and it came back clear and two cycles later I was pregnant. This was 6/7 months after my last ectopic. Hope this gives you some hope after your losses.

So sorry for your losses , I've had two both in my left tube. I jade a chemical in Feb 22 , 1st ectopic may 22 treated with methotrexate, 2nd ectopic Sept 22 with tube removal x

@Charlotte thank you yes this gives me hope. X

@Zelica my bad tubes gone now so I’ve got my healthy left one . So hopefully 🙏

🤞🏾 for you , once they removed my tube I fell pregnant again my son is now 14 months old x

@Zelica that’s amazing, that’s really good 😊

@Rachael I’ve been trying for our 2nd baby as well, 2 ectopics 1 chemical and still no baby 😵‍💫

@Rachael did they say your right tube was okay? Did you have tests done first?

@Rachael they said my left tube is okay but can I really trust that. They told me to have the injection the first time I had a ectopic, so the 2nd time it got stuck in that damaged tube , so if I’d had surgery in the first place I wouldn’t of had to go through that twice. I’m not very happy 😤

@Rachael I’m in pain from the surgery. But I’m more mentally struggling since I’ve been through this twice now. The first time was bad enough.

@Rachael I had the injection with the first ectopic, I wanted surgery the first time, but they talked me out of it. That’s why I’ve had another ectopic, that tube must be damaged. I can’t believe I had surgery but I really needed it this time 😵‍💫. 3 losses with that tube 😔.

@Rachael 3 babies wow. That’s good to know there is still hope for me to have my last baby.

@🌺 Charlotte 🪬 did you have your tube removed?

@🌺 Charlotte 🪬 that’s amazing you’ve had 3 kids after. That must of been so scary after the 2 ectopic pregnancies?

I’ve had two, first one in left tube and surgery, second in right tube 10 months later which was medically managed. HSG shows no block, but 9 months on still no joy. I found there isn’t much info regarding ectopics in both tubes and subsequent success rates. I contacted EPT but didn’t find them to be very helpful, all advice was based on having single ectopic or multiple but relating to the same tube. So I don’t know if there’s much hope or not, but feels less likely with every passing month
