Labour worries

Hey, has anyone else experienced partial dislocation in their hip while in labour? I had this issue with my first and due to the bone moving i was in alot of pain and the epidural did not help the hip pain at all even when they topped it up this caused my son to get stuck and ended up with an episiotomy and suction to get him out. Im now pregnant with my second and terrified of that hip pain again

So sorry to hear you had this experience and I hope it will be better this time, sending you positive wishes! Have you tried pregnancy yoga and stretching to help keep your pelvis aligned? I usually have hip/pelvic bone pain but found that staying active throughout the pregnancy and getting my pelvic bone aligned properly helped. I usually go to a chirp for the alignment but also do it at home occasionally. During the third trimester I would lie on my back on the hard floor and get my husband to gently massage my hipbone until everything pops back in place. Additionally do a lot of curb walking and horse stance/sumo squat (hold yourself on a kitchen counter or something!) just to make the hip more mobile so it can shift out of the way during labour. Hope any of this helps, good luck!
