Pcos moms?

Hello, is there any pcos moms on here? I’m a first time mom myself. I’m 31weeks and 2 days! I’m a little worried about postpartum. I feel like we already have a disadvantage because our hormones are already wacky 🙈 but I’m also worried about bleeding passed the “normal” time. All this being said any tips on getting your hormones in check?!

Not PCOS here, but I have endometriosis and pmdd. I don't have any tips, but I'll be following to see what other people say. I'm a little worried too 😞

I’m a PCOS mom! I got the gastric sleeve surgery and got pregnant 5 months post op, I’m 31 weeks, 5 days! Losing weight helped me regulate my hormones a little bit but I haven’t found anything else that helps so I’m following this post also!! So not ready for another period 🤣🫠

Hi, I’m a PCOS mom 31 weeks with my second baby. After having my first, my periods were normal and only lasted 7 days everytime. Also with breastfeeding it helped me to lose weight so I think that might’ve helped too. It’s pretty hard to get your hormones in check honestly, but once you have baby just try healthy foods that help produce milk even if you don’t try to breastfeed and exclusively pump. I noticed once my hormones “regulated” my periods were still normal, but I wasn’t doing anything fr besides breastfeeding and when I stopped they still were normal. Hope that helps

I have PCOS! Getting my anemia in a little better place helped my PCOS. Also avoiding whey protein, whey is not our friend. I'm the type of person that likes to take my hormone rages out physically like working out. If you have a supportive partner or system having them give you some you time is helpful. It's ok to need a break. So many people push 24/7 mom and baby time but having a break especially with the hormones is needed I find.
