@Ellie thank you! I've left him for a few hours before but knowing I'm gonna be in an office an hour from home not seeing/hearing him is really affecting me. I just hope the days go fast so I'm not sat at working anxious. Luckily when I leave my son with his grandparents for a couple hours i just kiss him and walk out so i hope this will carry on working and he doesnt get too fazed.
Same! All my KIT days are lined up, nursery is fast approaching but it’s only me, so work is essential. May the force be with you and us all xxx
I hope it goes really well for you! Luckily for me my aunty works at his nursery which puts me at ease and it’s my old primary school but I really wish you well and promise it will get easier ❤️❤️
Honestly I found the first week really hard and asked who ever was looking after him to send pictures throughout the day. I went back end of April due to finances and now I’m super confident with him staying at peoples houses throughout the day. My little boy also loves going to peoples houses! I think the hardest part for a month was seeing them cry when you came through the door but you’re there to them comfort them and take them home so it’s an odd feeling of happiness but sad they feel like that! My best thing we did when leaving him was never say goodbye just kiss on the head and walk away because if I made a fuss he cried but if I just walked away he never noticed sounds horrible but I didn’t want him to cry for hours! Honestly I think it’s harder for you than for the babies my son has a lovely time and then comes home and just cuddles me for comfort! Sending love as I know it’s a hard one!❤️
