Sorry why r u avoiding lying on your back or right side?🤔
@Raluca lying on your back isn’t recommended because it presses on the inferior vena cava (your bodies biggest vein) and can stop flow to the baby and increase the risk of stillbirth. I think there have been studies about lying on your right side too, some studies suggest that lying on your left side halves the risk of stillbirth, too!
Thank you. I fall asleep on my left hand side but I got no idea how I turn in my sleep😒 any way to control twisting and turning during sleep?🤔
@Raluca They say that the position you fall asleep in is the position you’re asleep most longest in, so as long as you’re falling asleep on your side it’s okay 🙂 you can’t control what happens when you sleep anyway so i wouldn’t worry about it x
To be honest, I always fell asleep on either left or right side because sleeping was impossible - I think it’s more important to just not sleep on your back x
@Kaydee thank you, I will check it out 🤍
@Raluca Hiya, I've read on the Tommy's charity website that side sleeping is the safest position during pregnancy. The website contains the details, advice and weeks of pregnancy etc
I got a few pillows but my favourite by far was the bbhugme pillow. I got a used one off vinted and ordered a new cover for it xx
Thank you ladies. Good mirning! One more question, this position of nit sitting on your back does it apply only for sleeping or also when I'm awake? My back hurts badly because of the weight and scoliosis, so when i sit down, I sit on my back instead of side...
@Gabriella thank, I'll have a look at that one :-)
@Raluca Im not sure of that specifically but check out the Tommy's website.. https://www.tommys.org/pregnancy-information/im-pregnant/sleep-side/sleep-position-pregnancy-qa

The babygo premium pregnancy pillow was amazing for me! I had the same issue and found the way the pillow was shaped helped massively x
