Double buggy recommendations x

Hi, we are due our 2nd child in January (daughter will be 21 months) when baby arrives. Does anyone have this pram and can give their opinion? Or recommend an affordable alternative... I just can't justify spending over 1k as I do also drive so feel the money is a bit excessive. Thanks in advance x

We were going to get this one we heard a lot of good things about it but when I checked based on the measurements it wouldn’t fit through my front door😫 we’ve ended up going for the baby jogger city tour 2. It’s a bit more expensive than the ickle bubba but slimmer so easier for doorways. We haven’t actually used it yet as only due next month but we’ve put it up etc and it feels nice to push etc. probably not the best if your toddler is high centiles though as the seats only go to 15kg each and are fairly slim

Ooo thankyou. Tbf we can't use our front door currently cause of the shockingly placed porch so the door doesn't fully open 😂 and our single was a push to fit through the back door anyway so I'm not too religious about it fitting through the door. I do need to check if it fits in our car boot though hahaha x

Yeah it’s not often we take our pram in the house as it tends to live in the car but the times I do take it in I don’t want to be having to leave one child on the front while I take the other in 😱 my car boot is tiny too. I haven’t actually tried it in my boot yet but it seems to fold smaller than my double so I’m sure it’ll fit

Yeah I get that! Again (and I know we are lucky for this and not everyone has the option) but because we have to use our back door it's down the side of our house so is luckily away from the road and also our gates kinda keep them from getting to the front garden! And our door goes straight into our kitchen so it isn't tooooo bad in the grand scheme of things. The main ones for me are the fitting in the boot and affordability 😂 I do have a Hyundai IX35 so hopefully once I measure up it's good news 🤞🏻

We've got a Puggle double pram, wasn't expensive compared to others and so far no issues 🙂 xx
