Toddler bed or crib?

For those of you who didn’t sleep train and have bad sleepers or at least some night wakings, what did you do for your 1st baby’s sleep while pregnant? I’m pregnant with my 2nd, and right now it’s not a big deal since it’s early but my toddler sleeps in a crib and wakes up a ton at night cause we don’t sleep train. The issue is, I usually lie down by the crib or lie down in the bed and then transfer him when putting him to bed/soothing night wakings and I feel like that’s just not realistic when I’m a lot more pregnant with a bump?? Trying to transfer a 30 pound toddler to a crib while I’m massively pregnant sounds like a nightmare 😭😭 I’m like should I put him in a toddler bed or floor bed so I can just lie down with him?? Not sure what to do

we coslept with my son for a while and eventually he’ll still get in the bed with us. but i slowly transitioned him to sleeping in his crib because im currently 30 weeks pregnant and at that stage where i’m getting uncomfortable. i’m not sure how far along you are but we started as soon as i found out i was pregnant again. id put him down for naps in his crib and let him fall asleep at night in his crib until he’d wake up and then put him in the bed with us. but eventually i slowly stopped putting him in the bed and gave him his paci and laid him back down. and at some point he got the hint. we started around February when he turned 1 and he only now has been sleeping in his crib all night (while waking up a few times). so it took a while but its going on 2 weeks that he’s slept in his crib all night! i just can’t do it anymore because im so uncomfortable and moving around a lot in my sleep now 🥲

Hi! Im following since I’m now 14 weeks and have been thinking about introducing the toddler bed next month once my LO turns 18 months. She currently naps and sleep in her crib but we bring her into our bed for night wakes. I JUST transitioned her out of rocking her to sleep which was a big thing and so glad we did because she only wanted me to do it and rocking a 27 pound toddler while pregnant is not ideal. Lol

Floor bed! We had a lovely crib that transitioned from mini crib to crib to toddler bed. I believe he truly hated that crib or mattress. Many, many night wakings for endless months (16) and staying up for hours at night. I got him a queen size floor bed and he loves being able to move so freely. And either dad or myself can sleep there very comfortably.
