Early pregnancy

Hello, So I had a positive pregnancy test last night, the day of my expected period, this morning I woke up with light pink bleeding, it got a little heavy then light again, very small blood clot the size of a pin. Full ache all day.3 pregnancy, and I've never experienced this before, so slightly unsure. Is this a miscarriage or implantation bleeding?

I’d call up your early pregnancy unit and ask for advice, better to be sure then to worry. Hope everything works out and it’s nothing to worry about 🫶🏻

It could be implantation bleeding..I am sure everything is okay. I had a bleed at 6 weeks pregnant..I was worrying like mad thinking it was a miscarriage but I got told it is common to have a bleed at 6 weeks. I am now 31 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. IVF with donor eggs worked on our 1st go.

I had bleeding throughout the first trimester, and before 6 weeks they kinda didn’t want to know at the EPU unless it was heavy and the pain was severe and one sided. You can call them if you like, to hear their advice, but I’d be prepared for them to tell you to just keep an eye on it. I ended up going in and eventually got put on progesterone from 10 weeks, but it did keep recurring and I had to be persistent.

Could be a chemical/mc unfortunately. I would keep an eye on the bleeding & in the meantime phone epu/gp for advice
