Big sister presents

Hey guys! So I’m due with my little boy in 3 weeks and I have a 23 month old little girl. I’m thinking about buying my little girl “big sister presents” for when the baby arrives so she doesn’t feel left out/ pushed away. Any thoughts/ ideas?

I just got bits I know she’d like! So I got her one of those osbourne sticker books (the ones from WHSmith), a my little pony and a Disney Dalmatian that she latched on to when in John Lewis last week (I went back later to get it)

I tend to find she’s pretty unphased with jelly cats etc so thought at least the stickers would keep her quiet for a few hours (or minutes) 🤣

Mine will be about 19.5m. We’re planning to get her a new baby doll so she can change/feed her baby etc whilst I feed the baby and she can kinda feel involved. Will probably get her a few other little bits of toys, books just to keep her occupied and when I cant always go to her straight away. We also plan to take her to pick out a little teddy/comforter to give to the baby (assuming she won’t try claim it for herself 😂)

We’re getting her a bigger slide for the garden and my mum is getting her a little trampoline. She has so many indoor toys and loves being outside so I’m hoping that will keep her occupied too. Due in 3 weeks too 💙

I got my boy a T-shirt and badge that say big brother. A books and then a couple of toys. He’s picked out a soft toy for her ☺️

We have a similar age gap. My little girl will be 2 this weekend. I asked her what she wanted to get her brother and she said a 'hop hop' so I have a rabbit teddy in a gift bag with a book for her to give him and when she does his gift for her is a different coloured rabbit Teddy, a big sister book and a little bracelet I got on etsy as she loves an accessory. 😊
