Just curious if anyone’s been offered sweeps yet from a no complication pregnancy, I’m not being offered till 41 weeks. FTM

Same here! I’m current 40+3 and so over it, have a midwife appointment tomorrow so we shall see what they say! However, I do want things to happen naturally so fingers crossed for no intervention 😩🤞🏽

My due date was yesterday, midwife appt tomorrow, i plan to ask if she can do a sweep as apparently allowed 3 - every 2-3 days until they would recommend induction at 41+5

My due date was yesterday, I had the really painful membrane sweep and nothing happened until now, I am eating dates, nipples stimulation, exercise everything but nothing changed until now…

mine was yesterday DD, had a sweep this morning but unsuccessful due to cervix being high. Been doing exercises :) any other suggestions

My due date is today (2nd baby) . I have to go to DAU Friday due to blood pressure so not sure what’s in store for me next but awaiting my fate 🙈

My due date was yesterday, I had a sweep at 39 weeks and one yesterday and I’m currently on the labour ward waiting to have my waters broken!

My due date was Saturday just gone, I had a sweep at 39+2 and lost my mucus plug the day after but then nothing. I had another sweep yesterday and again nothing! Booked to have an induction on Monday although hoping she makes an appearance before then 😅

I'm in a similar boat was due Friday, just had my second unsuccessful sweep and am booked in for induction on Monday too, hoping to go naturally into labour 🤞

My due date was Sunday and I was offered a sweep today but declined as I’ve not had any signs he’s ready and my midwife said if my cervix wasn’t soft having it wouldn’t do anything but might cause discomfort. She is booking me in for induction on Friday 2nd August as they don’t want me to go over any more then that (that will be 12 days over), and have said I can have a sweep next Wednesday if I want, but I’ll see how I feel next week if he’s still not out! X

I was offered sweeps from 38 weeks, had my second one yesterday and lost my mucus plug at midnight this morning, been losing it in parts today but no sign of baby!

I am a FTM and I was offered a sweep at 39 weeks as baby wasn’t growing as much as they’d want him too, they did a stretch and sweep the same day xx

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?

Anyone who’s had their 2nd baby, when did you go into labour compared to your first?

Palpitations and out of breath

Anyone else dealing with heart palpitations and running out of breath super quickly?

I already spoke to my midwife, and they put me on magnesium and extra electrolytes and said if it doesn’t help, to tell them again. I have my next OB appointment on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it back up when I see her then, but I feel like my shortness of breath has just gotten increasingly worse and the dizziness is now off and on when I used to not get it before.

Anyone else has that experience?

I am 30 weeks on Wednesday (March 25) with a C-section scheduled for end of May.

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.
