I use james smiths calculator to find out the calories and macors i need then use myfitnesspal for tracking xxx
I have myfitnesspal paired with garmin also and find that garmin seems to tally for me 😊 if your watch has wrist HR then it knows what you've really burned, especially if your weight is up to date on there too. I believe my fit pal just goes off overall steps for the day + recorded activity, and still takes some back off if your steps aren't very high and it's already got a recorded activity 😒
Don’t use apps like mfp or nutracheck , they create too much of a deficit Use a tdee calculator or jsa
I recommend using the mifflin st jeor calculator. If you google it it should come up 😌
