Implant

Mamas in the house, please is it normal to not have your period? I'm a first time mum of a 5 month old baby girl and I chose the implant contraceptive when my LO was 3 months, I had my period last month for the first time after the postpartum bleeding which lasted for 2 months and I was expecting it for this month but the expected date has passed and yet I haven't seen it. Please is it possible to be pregnant even with the contraceptive? Although I have not done any pregnancy tests yet.

Hey! I chose the implant in my arm and got it 2 months ago. Last month I had my period and it was extremely light, and this month it has stopped it. It’s completely normal. It can make it heavier or lighter, or in some cases stop it. You can also test if unsure ( I did two days ago 🤣 ) but there are very very very small chances you can still get pregnant on the implant but it’s very rare x

@Adriana Thanks, I will test by next week if I still don't see it 😂😂

The implant really messed with my cycle when I had it. I chose to get it removed because at one point I was bleeding for 4 months. I wouldn’t worry about being pregnant, the implant is very effective in that sense x
