Teeth brushing help!

Nope! 🤣 I let him do them then I brush after to make sure all areas are brushed.

I brush my daughter's teeth (she will just play with the brush) and I made up a game where I'm chasing bad guys out of her mouth with the toothbrush (like bacterias and viruses :) First we check all quarters how many bacterias there are and then they may be having a party or eating some leftover chocolate or making a house in her teeth.. It took a while but now she takes the brushing time seriously.. Be patient and good luck 😉

I have to do the toothy express- basically the toothbrush is a train that has to work his way up to his teeth and it has a flashing light that helps him see in the tunnel this helps a lot!

That's cute. We used to have epic meltdowns over bedtime brushing. Often started with a tantrum.

Yeah but we only manage cause we have an electric toothbrush and he likes waiting for it to vibrate to say it’s done

My daughter is the worst child I’ve ever known I have tried everything. Getting teddies or favourites toys to brush teeth, putting songs on, being playful and it worked a few times then she was back to screaming if I got anywhere near her. Most days I’ve had to pin her down to do them which I hate doing and makes me feel horrible but I know I would feel even worse if her teeth rotted away.

Sorry that wasn’t really helpful but a song would help, duggee and barney has a tooth brushing song I’m sure there are more too.

An electric toothbrush worked wonders for us! Only £4 ish in Asda.

I tell her I can see teeth monsters and I need to brush them off quick before they eat her teeth 😂😅 I also play a teeth brushing song which she absolutely loves and she brushes for the full video since I started playing it!

Oh also, have you tried different tooth pastes? My son hated one of them we tried but loves the current one (aqua fresh).

My son was given a hey duggee toothbrushing toy that plays music for 2 mins if you put the brush up to duggee's teeth it's great and he used to brush his teeth for as long as it was on. The novelty eventually wore off and he now has an electric minions toothbrush as he loves the film only film he watches all the way through. He was using it well but started not liking the feeling of it when I tried to brush his teeth I was maybe pressing it into his gums or something but that's now put him off again. So he brushes without it switched on. I try to make sure he does his teeth at least once a day 🙈 the struggle is real. I pick my battles sometimes!
