Feeling home sick for my garden :c

I had a really gorgeous garden, wasn't really that great in other people's eyes but it was my perfect little slice of heaven here in earth. But we had to move, now live in an apartment. I feel like I'm a prisoner here 💔 I miss my plants my herbs my colorful trees. I miss sitting under my big tree (named him papa tree) smoking, reading, enjoying seeing the birds squirrel my cats. Miss my old days. Don't get me wrong love my two LOs (1 yr and 3 wks) but miss being outside in nature and actually enjoying it :c didn't mean to sound so negative or whiney. Any advice or tips to bringing nature in an apartment home? I'm sure people might say just go outside with them but it's a new neighborhood, new state and with alligators around 😬 I'm paranoid bout who the neighbors might be, maybe pervs or creeps.

I have to put wind blowing through trees ambiance or forest sounds on YouTube. Nothing compares to the real thing but it kinda helps

Aww I hope you can bring nature more into your home life . If you don’t have much privacy I’d find a local park or national park where you can ground and be around trees birds and all that nature has to offer and make that place my home away from home take walks hangout with the kiddos under the trees picnics etc . I would bring in a bunch of plants into your apartment if you don’t have pets otherwise yes I agree with above comment YouTube nature ambiance sounds and maybe get yourself a aero garden for the kitchen you can buy a used one rarely cheap and you can have ur herbs again :) I hope this helps 💕

Plants r life so I totally get it. U need to make room for them.in ur life wherever you go. So when I had my first child I didn't garden for a bit because I was overwhelmed as a new mom but the first thing I did was grow microgreens indoors under grow lights. It's pretty easy to do once you get the equipment. I really like @onthegrow to learn how to grow them if you are interested. Do you like growing indoor plants? It's also interesting to propagate plants indoors and there are some really cute decor items that function as propagating containers too.

House plants! I have over 80 houseplants I love it my house looks like a jungle. I love caring for them every day and they make great wards too

When I was living in my last apartment I started a composter and composted my food. It really helped me with feeling connected to nature, and I was able to use it to grow some potted herbs and flowers
