Teaching my 18 month old

So with my daughter quickly approaching 2, I wanted to start doing daily lessons and a daily activity as well as get her in a stricter routine. I was going to try and do like a letter of the alphabet a day. So like A and then base her a snack and a craft/sensory activity off of that letter. Does anyone else have any other idea’s of what to do? I am a SAHM with her, and when she turns 4 we are going to put her in VPK I just don’t want her go to in to PK and not really be at the same level as the other kids. I just don’t want her to fall behind. Pic of my baby in my wedding dress from 2 weekends ago! 🥹🩷

1st how cute! 2nd love this! We do cradle school once a week and there is such a difference in her speak ability. So check with your local school district if they have an early childhood education programs, mines free and they do snacks! Id also say read her a book everyday if not 2-3. Make sure you take her to any local library events if you have any nearby!

@Jazzmyne what is cradle school? Definitely want to look into this!

@Cali Its like preschool but for 0-5 years old with an emphasis on parents being a child’s first educator. The class usually goes with 20 mins of open play, 20 mins with songs/colors/ABCs/Flashcards than 30 mins of age appropriate activities and than snacks. I recommend it as much as I can lol! If anything it’s like a playdate and I get out of the house and talk to other adults lol.

Focus on their vocabulary, sensory play, emotions, etc now. My son is 18 months, we read books, do sensory books, talk talk and talk, do some art, etc. I post his activities on his instagram account all the time as well.

@Amira what is the instagram if you won’t mind? I would love to maybe take some ideas from what you post if you don’t mind! 😊

It’s zain.zubeidat. The highlights have the play ideas, food, etc. not the best blogger but I’m trying 😂

@Jazzmyne that sounds awesome! I looked but none near me. I wish there was one nearby!
