My son is turning 3 and he HATES the toilet and no matter what I’ve tried he still just says “no like toilet” 😂 mommy no like changing your stinky pull-ups sir, if anyone has any ideas, that would be much appreciated.
I just posted about my son withholding poop but we are good on peeing! Zero accidents during day or naps, but still wears pull ups at night.
I will say, we tried at 2 years and 5 months and it was AWFUL and he wasn’t ready so he fought it a lot and it was miserable for everyone so we paused because it wasn’t working and the more we pushed it the more he refused. A month ago I just casually put him in underwear with his favorite character and said “don’t pee on Lightning McQueen” and then magically he’s fully pee potty trained. I think it purely was him not being ready versus him being ready and not resisting.
It makes a huge difference. I kept telling myself, everyone gets potty trained eventually.
Idk if you have him sitting or standing but my son really loves to stands and my mother in law first started with him by putting a Cheerio in the toilet and have him aim at it lol like target practice.
