Cold remedies for 4mo

Hi! My 4 month old (20 weeks so almost 5 months) has a little bit of a cold - He sounds congested, has a bit of a cough, and his temperature is around 100 (taken on his armpit). What are some natural cold remedies? I have the zarbees chest rub that I just started putting on him & I plan to get the humidifier going tonight. Along with saline in the nose!

All clothes off except diaper turn on hot water let your bathroom steam up. Stand in the steam for as long as yall can stand it. Nose should start running shortly after. You can also do the nose rinse from tiktok

We give Baby Cold Calm. Steam showers- sit in the bathroom with the water as hot as it goes and just let him breathe in all the steam. Detox baths- epsom salt, apple cider vinegar, baking soda. Air purifiers running and Peppermint oil in diffusers. Keep the snot sucked out! Probably won’t help you now if you don’t have them but for future reference- Earthley tinctures are the best! The Elderberry, Cough-be-gone, and feel better fast. Garlic oil in the ears to prevent ear infections. For fever, we personally let the fever do its job. We treat the child, not the fever. If his temp is high but he’s acting normal and energetic, we let it ride. If he has chills or he’s lethargic, we’ll give medicine. Otherwise we do luke warm baths, cool wash cloths, peppermint oil on feet and spine, popsicles, skin to skin, and let him sleep as much as he needs. That was a lot but hope it helps!🫶🏼
