Would you be annoyed if??

You went 7 whole weeks without giving your baby a dummy? Then you have to go to the shop to get some bits and your other half rings and says she won’t settle. Which then makes me want to hurry. To then find out he’s gone and give her a dummy as the easy option!!! Or am I over exaggerating?? I am so upset/annoyed!!!’

Yes id be fuming! My little one is breastfed and it can affect their latch from what ive been told so id go mad at him. Men tend to go for easy option when babies cry, x

I'm surprised the LO took it, I gave up and tried at 4 weeks because I thought it would help and our LO out right refused it (and refused the other 4 different types we have tried) but yes if my partner did that without discussing it with me I wouldn't be very happy.

@Susan same! She spits it out straight away — it’s making bottle training a nightmare ie she’s not doing it.

I would be little mad I guess but if I think from his side, if baby is screaming the house down and he doesn't have a boob to give then I understand him and one time won't mean baby will always need it 🙂

Yes and no. People demonise dummies so much, but there is actually so many benefits in regard to SIDS and also helping with wind issues. It can always be removed. Why choose the hard option?
