I was told I probably wouldn’t have it again, but I did after my second pregnancy and although it wasn’t as severe, it was harder to get under control. I was discharged with medications the second time around and was in the hospital for 5 nights. First time I was hospitalized overnight and didn’t need take home meds.
I’m wondering the same thing. I’m turning 40 this year and feel so worried because of the risk of preeclampsia and my age.
I was told 25 percent chance I would have preclampsia again in future pregnancy but wouldn't be as severe as first time.
