I went with a friend, to support them. but I had to wait outside for entire day. You’re not allowed to go in until after the procedure was done.

Also, when she said she was waiting at the time, they asked her several questions. Medical wise basically intervention she couldn’t remember anything after she left..

@Erica they sound uncomfortable and scary

Yes unfortunately I was scared for her

I’ve had one years ago before I was married and it’s best to have someone there with you to drive afterwards. You will feel a little queasy and weak afterwards. It’s a quick procedure, they will give you an ultrasound and snip and suction lasting about 5-9 minutes. You will feel a small pitch for the most part but they usually prescribe something for the pain. Mine you this was over 5 years ago. I’m not sure if anything has changed. I also did the pill option out of the two abortions I’ve done in the past and that process was horrible.

@Darlisa so the pill is the worst option do you need days off of work

@Darlisa and was you woke during the procedure

I also had a DnC several years ago and I still have some PTSD when it comes to pelvic exams and transvaginal ultrasounds because they put the same kind of pressure on your cervix that they do when they dilate you to complete the DnC

Yes, I say it’s worse because you just bleed for 72 hours straight. It’s as if you are having a miscarriage. It messed me up because I seem my embryo and psychological it made me feel worse. I prefer a faster procedure so you don’t have to see that.

@Alexis that’s definitely what I’m scared of

@Darlisa you right about seeing i think that might break me Frfr

It was so long ago and it still haunts me. That was 9 years ago.

Were there any issues after trying to conceive children afterwards?

@Darlisa was you woke during it

Yes I was woke during the procedure

@Erica no, I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant now. I vowed to GOD I would never do another abortion and I thank god everyday that my baby is developing healthfully!

Hi fellow mama, I’m so glad we have this forum where we feel comfortable and open to sharing and discussing great times and hard times. ❤️ Coming from someone whose friend had an abortion, I feel compelled to suggest you fully educate yourself on all possible decisions (adoption, keeping baby) and on the full procedure, risks, and looking up others’ testimonies on their emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical experience before and after. It’s good to be educated and think through everything about an irreversible decision. Many women are scared and overwhelmed (understandably) and make the decision to abort their baby from a place of fear. Good decisions don’t come from fear. You already have two kids so I know you’re a good mom. You are full of love and stronger than you think. And you aren’t alone. To the full extent that we can, the other mommas and I on here will support and encourage you. I wish you the best. Be brave. You are loved. ❤️

@Erica I didn't have any issues either, I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with my second child

You’re a lot more fertile after your pregnancy. I got pregnant 2 months later. I had unprotected sec a lot with my bf prior to the pregnancy I aborted and never got pregnant for years. I just had my baby 1 month ago and no complications. I took the pills for abortion at home. I was 6 weeks when it happened.

If you have any thoughts that you might regret this decision then you have a lot to still think about. As a woman who almost had an abortion I can say if you have any doubt’s you might regret it. And that’s exactly what would’ve happened in my situation. Now, as a women if you know this is the right choice then it’s the right choice.
