Husband and coworker

How would you feel if you found out you husband bought cigarettes for a coworker after he had just promised to stop smoking cigarettes? So I went through my husband’s laptop and noticed his coworker had asked if he had fags and he said no and he asked if she did and she said no, then he asked her to meet him up in a Tesco’s behind his office and offered to buy her cigarettes. Now this was 2days ago and I remember asking him if he smoked cigarettes that day and he clearly said no and I started to think my smell must be off. Now I know it ain’t easy to quit smoking but he smokes weed and cigarettes is just a new thing he has started doing recently and I have noticed this particular coworker is always asking him for some and she would meet him up at work to smoke with him. She doesn’t even work in his department. We already have trust issues going on. I don’t know what to think.

That’s weird they are probably more than coworkers . He can buy his own why is he offering to buy her some??

@Janea I don’t think they are more than coworkers but I can never really know, we are Nigerians and the coworker is too, from the little I can see on the tiny profile picture, she looks young but he refers to her as though, she is older than him. But either way I think something is going on with him

You may not believe he has penetrated her, but it's possible he is cheating emotionally. Even flirting with her while they smoke cigarettes together is still cheating and could lead to penetration. Either way, being secretive and lying isn't okay.

The fact you smelt smoke on him and he didn't say 'oh it's because I was with X who was smoking' is very sus.

This is so true, I have just sat and had a conversation and he insists that he doesn’t remember if he smoked or not and says he didn’t smoke around anybody

If he won't even tell the truth about smoking then I'd worry he's lying about other things too

Considering my husband remembers his last cigarette was with my now deceased grandfather and that man loses his keys regularly, I'd say your man is full of shit! He's lying to you and I wouldn't put up with it personally. He remembers smoking, especially if he was supposed to have quit smoking🙄😒

@Janea Nah tbh I don’t believe hardly anything he says these days and it has all come from little white lies like this. But the reason I don’t believe he is cheating (at least not with that particular girl) is because I have read the whole chat and tbh, it sounds more like she’s using him for cigarettes and would only message him when she was in the office same time as him and would ask him for fags. I’m more worried about how easily he can lie to me and make me feel like I’m going crazy as I could smell it on him.
