Poo 💩

My boy is 9 months and currently shitting about 10 times a day. Super yellow, mucusy & smells very acidic. I’m putting it down to him teething very badly (2 teeth cutting) & his love of bananas😂😂 8am 7oz bottle 9.30am breakfast 12pm lunch 5pm 7oz bottle 10pm 7oz bottle Snacks & and water in between

Same here! It's coincided with my daughter starting nursery, they mention it every time she goes that she's had another diarrhea type poo! It wasn't an issue until 4 weeks ago! Sometimes they're fine, other times they're a bit more loose. She's not in any kind of pain, but it's the reason she's waking up earlier than she's ready for, she's doing early morning poos which we never had before

Please also note that runny muscusy poo is a sign of a delayed allergic reaction too so keep an eye out on what food is causing it as it can also cause skin eczema and general discomfort for little one ♥️ just something to keep in mind, teething can also cause it from increased saliva swallowing x

My daughter is 9 months and she is the exact same, she poops after every big meal..... And she likes to wake me in the morning with a stinker too 🤣🤣 But my daughter has nice formed poos!

Definitely worth keeping an eye on fruit intake. A portion for anybody (of any age) is approx a fist sized amount of fruit For a baby that would be a strawberry or two, for instance. It’s different for everybody ofc but if I had 2/3/4 portions worth of fruit in one hit I’d be 💩ing for England 😂😂

@Emma he isn’t allergic to anything. He’s teething very badly & suffering with a sore bum🥰

@Emma I know, we were worried at first but it’s only been in the last week his poo has been like this and nothing has changed in his diet etc. poor boy xx

@Jasmine it's crazy what teething can do to our poor babies bodies 😟 from the irritated crankiness, to the nappy rash, funky 💩s and put of their food. I hope his little tummy and gums settle down soon ☺️
